A window view on the last morning of the year 2012
Standing by the window, painting on the last day of the year, I bid my silent goodbye to the year gone by.

A winter wonderland from Balmoral Bay
The light was fading so quickly in the afternoon when I set up my easel to paint this view from our driveway in the afternoon.

From our front yard on a hoarfrost morning

On a cold winter morning
Setting up my easel close to our living room window in the morning and painting this window view while listing to CBC Radio2 , I feel myself totally submerged into an entranced world .

On an early winter morning
Pulling up the curtain of our bedroom window early in the morning, I set up my easel in a rush to try to capture the moment when the sun started to rise pouring its radiant light through the wintry early morning landscape outside.

Cloudy and snowy at the moment when the lights are being switched on
It was dark, cloudy, cold and snowy at 4 p.m when I set up my easel at the end of our driveway on Balmoral Bay. However, there was something indescribable about the cosy serenity of the view in front of me, spellbound by the beauty only winter could offer. Finishing my 16"x20" painting in an hour at around 5 p.m when all of a sudden the street lights were turning on transfiguring the whole mundane landscape into something bordering on divine.
