We drove to Clear Lake this morning to deliver my paintings for the show. After unloading my paintings at the Gallery I went to the main beach of the lake to paint again against strong gust of wind. I had to place a big rock onto my easel to hold it down , keeping it from being blown away. Spent two hours fighting against the wind, and trying to capture the fleeting moment of light and colour of the lake on a typical busy summer morning. After the painting was done I took it back to the gallery , and it was up on the wall the very next day , and was sold right away.
